The “Domestic Travel Revival – Trip to Friendly Penghu” event has begun on November 1st, 2021 with more than 170 businesses in Penghu participating. As of December 21st, 2021, more than 4,300 lucky draw tickets have been collected; in other words, more than 4,000 people have been attracted to this event. At 10am on December 22nd, the first round of online live lucky draw took place at Penghu National Scenic Area Administration. First Prize – a diverse collection of Penghu souvenirs; accommodation vouchers at renowned hotels including Four Points by Sheraton – Penghu and MF Hotel Penghu; Taiwan – Penghu round-trip tickets for Mandarin Airlines and Uni Air, with no restrictions on specific routes; and various other amazing gifts, a total of more than 30 prizes, have all been given away to mainland Taiwanese tourists visiting Penghu.

Director Hsu Tsung-min of Penghu National Scenic Area Administration expressed his appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of Penghu’s businesses. The event will last until March 31st, 2022, and he welcomes all to join. There will also be two more lucky draws taking place on February 22nd and April 1st, 2022. A “CarryMe”, a folding bike, sponsored by Pacific Cycles, will also be drawn during the last round. Also, we would like to give you a preview of Penghu’s other exciting events next year. First, the “Four Seasons of Penghu and You Photography Competition” will initiate a

series of events, which will take place from January 1st, 2022 to October 31st, 2022. An expected 60 classic and beautiful pictures of Penghu will be selected, and the highest honor of “Golden Award” will award a cash prize of NT$2,500. There will be four categories of photography themes, and we are inviting all talented photographers to share varying aspects of Penghu’s beauty.
