Penghu’s autumn and winter delicacies are simply irresistible, offering a perfect way to explore local culture. During these seasons, Penghu’s seafood is especially rich and flavorful, with fresh crabs, fish, oysters, and more taking center stage on the dining table. Whether steamed, in soup, or grilled, these dishes showcase the distinct tastes of Penghu's ocean bounty. To promote Penghu's autumn and winter culinary delights, the Penghu National Scenic Area Headquarters of the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications is hosting the "2024 Penghu Food Festival." Visitors are invited to indulge in local flavors this autumn and winter, letting their taste buds drift along with the ocean waves.

The "2024 Penghu Food Festival" officially opened on October 19 at Lintou Beach in Penghu, featuring three main campaigns: the Food Festival Sand Sculpture Exhibition, Food Festival Bingo, and Mystery Bag event, allowing tourists and locals alike to experience the unique flavors and charm of Penghu in autumn and winter.
Food Festival Sand Sculpture Exhibition: Running from October 19 to December 22 near the Shell Church at Lintou Beach, the exhibition showcases six sand sculptures inspired by Penghu’s culinary treasures, allowing visitors to experience the captivating art of sand sculpture up close.

Food Festival Bingo: From October 19, 2023, to March 30, 2024, over 40 local food vendors are teaming up for the Food Festival Bingo Stamps and Prizes event. Join in the fun by collecting stamps while enjoying local cuisine and enter to win amazing goodies, including seafood gift packs, specialty local treats, gourmet snack bundles, accommodation vouchers, and even a whole fish weighing over 10 kilograms! It’s a delicious way to add excitement to your Penghu food experience!

Mystery Bag: In collaboration with well-known Penghu specialty stores, the festival offers an exclusive mystery bag at a special price of NT$500 (originally NT$800), available until March 31, 2024. As part of the 2024 Penghu Food Festival, visitors can unlock exclusive discounts at the mysterious Nanwan restaurant simply by completing designated tasks! In addition to the 2024 Penghu Food Festival, Penghu’s autumn and winter activities also feature the 2024 Penghu Music Festival. This captivating light show continues to illuminate the night sky at Guanyinting Park, captivating visitors until November 3.
