Transportation via the sea includes several services from ports in central and southern Taiwan to Penghu. One-way journey takes about 4 hours. Services will be adjusted according to season and climate, do enquiry before departure. Lightweight Boats do not sail daily; they would often stop services when the weather is vile or during winter. Tickets to the North Sea, East Sea, and South Sea outlying islands can be purchased at the North Sea Visitor Center in Chihkan Village, Baisha Township, the Chitou Visitor Center in Chitou Village, and the South Sea Visitor Center at Magong City’s Third Fishing Port, respectively. The ferry schedules may change due to seasonal factors and weather conditions. Please inquire before your departure.
