Since 2003, the year the Penghu Ocean Fireworks Festival was held for the first time, this festival has become a tradition in Penghu over the last decade, a splendid view at night that everybody eagerly awaits at Penghu in the summer and is one of the main reasons that visitors choose to stop by Penghu in the summer.

 

2013 is a year worthy celebration as Penghu joined the “Most Beautiful Bays” in the World Club with the title “The Penghu Bay from Taiwan”. So, the most beautiful bay, the most charming firework is set as the theme of the festival this year and will be hosted on every Monday and Thursday night from April 18 to June 24. The opening performance will start at 7:30 PM, the remaining sessions will begin after 8:00 PM and fireworks will be featured at 9:15 PM (opening firework: 9:00 ~9:20 PM.) This festival will last for two and a half months and a total of 20 sessions will be held during this period.
