One of the most anticipated music events of the summer, the Pescadores Fest 2026, will take place from August 21 to 23 at Aimen Beach in Penghu. Featuring two stages and three consecutive days of performances, the festival promises an unforgettable seaside music experience. The Penghu NSA Headquarters has assembled an impressive international lineup, headlined by Japanese rock vocalist IKE, renowned for performing iconic anime theme songs, and Thai retro pop sensation YourMOOD, whose distinctive City Pop-inspired sound has captivated audiences across Southeast Asia. Joining them will be more than 30 outstanding artists and bands, including Taiwan's rising young rock group Resonance Effect, led by ukulele prodigy Feng E. Together, they will transform Aimen Beach—located within one of the world's most beautiful bays—into an international summer music destination.
Japanese Rock Energy Meets Thai Retro Romance
One of the festival's biggest international highlights is IKE, the powerful former lead vocalist of the iconic Japanese rock band SPYAIR. Known for performing beloved theme songs from popular anime series including Haikyu!!, Gintama, and Bleach, IKE has developed a devoted fan base throughout Asia. Having performed in Taiwan many times before, IKE describes his connection with Taiwanese audiences as particularly special. Joking that this will be his eighth visit to Taiwan, he remarked that his first priority upon arrival is always a comforting hot pot accompanied by Taiwanese beer. Although he has visited Taiwan frequently, this will mark his first performance in Penghu. "I come to Taiwan all the time because I absolutely love it here," said IKE. "I'm bringing my most passionate live performance to Penghu, and I can't wait to see the audience on the beach get fired up with me."
Another major international attraction is YourMOOD, one of the most talked-about emerging artists in Thailand's independent music scene. Known for his effortless transitions between falsetto and full voice, he rose to fame with the hit song "ลาก่อน" (LA-KORN). As a leading artist under Thailand's influential music label WHOOP Music, YourMOOD's music is produced by Thai pop superstar The TOYS and blends Retro Pop, Synthwave, and laid-back City Pop influences into a distinctive sound. Making his Penghu debut, YourMOOD will bring his signature Thai-inspired romantic melodies to the beach, creating a unique summer atmosphere accompanied by the sound of ocean waves.
In addition to its international acts, this year's festival will showcase a strong lineup of Taiwan's emerging music talent. Among the most anticipated performers is Resonance Effect, one of the most talked-about new bands on the festival circuit. Led by musical prodigy Feng E, who first gained international attention with his original compositions on Asia's Got Talent, the band combines math rock, punk, and heavy metal influences into a dynamic sound that belies the youth of its members, all of whom are just 18 years old. The festival will also feature an array of acclaimed Taiwanese artists, including Golden Melody Award-winning favorites Accusefive, retro-rock group icyball, and indie band Sweet John, among many others. Bringing together leading musicians from Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand, the Pescadores Fest 2026 will elevate the event to a truly international scale and fill Penghu's golden beaches with three days of unforgettable music.
