With an island look featuring golden, stretching, charming beaches, world-class geological wonders, and a sapphire ocean underneath the blue sky, Penghu always leaves visitors with unforgettable memories. In 2012, Penghu became a member of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World (MBBW), thrusting itself into the international spotlight with its hard power of beauty.
 
In 2022, the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration engaged Chris Stowers, an internationally renowned photographer, to start an image exploration of the signs in Penghu. The stone fish weirs, stone towers, coastline, and basalt joints adored by the camera reveal Penghu's natural and cultural splendors. Since signs bridge languages, Chris’s vision that depicts the vivid lives and the boundless energy on the island must evoke a thorough understanding of Penghu among international visitors.
 
To develop its popular attractions and themed tours, Penghu promotes its premium convenience and getaways, mainly with the Whale Cave Geopark on Shomon Islet, Kueibishan Geopark in Beiliao, Aimen Beach, and Shili Beach. Video clips were also made to market the three tourism themes: Penghu’s autumn and winter, recreational sports, and island hopping. The video clips feature energetic dance that unleashes the passion and energy of Penghu’s recreational sports, the richness and variety of island hopping, and the boundlessness and hygge of Penghu’s autumn and winter.
