Yueli Bay is a crescent-shaped sea bay that was first used by fishermen on Qimei as a harbor for coastal fishing. All that remains today is a small, basic “Yue Harbor” on the south side.
The beach of Yueli Bay consists of white crushed coral. It is the only water recreation area on Qimei and the waters are perfectly suited to snorkeling. There are some well-developed basalt formations in the region. The columnar basalt are arranged in a variety of impressive horizontal, radiating and intersecting formations. There are also many sea erosion landforms around.
