In addition to plan formulation, promotion and review, this Administration’s main work also involves enforcing the scenic area’s restrictions and various administration and management work. With the prerequisite of unified authority the Administration’s work is divided as follows :

•	Surveying, planning, developing and conserving tourism resources and protecting ecological, geological and marine resources.
•	Implementing recreation spot plans, building of public amenities and their maintenance.
•	Managing and encouraging private investment in tourism, accommodation, entertainment and public facilities and land and water based activities.
•	Tourism and recreation construction coordination, assistance with application for building permits.
•	Maintaining recreation area environmental cleanliness and pollution prevention.
•	Travel order and safety maintenance and management.
•	Travel services and interpretation.
•	Promotion of tourism and recreation.
•	External transport link contact and coordination
•	Other matters relating to the management of the scenic area.
